Valentine’s Day in Leeds

Romantic Love

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show the one you love how much you care about them, and, as always, Leeds comes up trumps for making that happen. This week we’re going to share a few of our favourite shops and restaurants that will make this Valentine’s Day in Leeds truly special.

Azendi – Victoria Quarter, Leeds, LS1 6AX

The Victoria Quarter in Leeds has a choice of great jewellers, and our favourite is probably Azendi. This understated little shop stocks its own brand of beautiful contemporary jewellery all made in the UK. We particularly like the Love Knot collection for your Valentine because, in their words, it “captures the romantic notion of lovers tying an unbreakable knot to represent everlasting love.”

Berry’s Jewellers – Victoria Quarter, Leeds, LS1 6BD

Also located in the Victoria Quarter is Berry’s Jewellers, one of the most celebrated and established suppliers of fine diamonds and watches in the UK. As well as stocking the best Swiss watches alongside contemporary and classic jewellery, Berry’s also offer a bespoke service so that you can have a piece crafted exclusively for your loved one for Valentine’s Day.

Sous le Nez en Ville – Quebec Street

What better way to present your loved one their sparkly new gift than over a romantic meal at one of the best restaurants in Leeds? Nothing says romance like French cuisine, and at Sous le Nez you’re treated to some of the best French food in the north of England. Tucked away under Quebec’s, this little restaurant combines perfect service with ‘fantastique’ food!

Kendells Bistro – 3 St. Peters Square

Another favourite of ours for a romantic meal in a relaxed and intimate setting is Kendells Bistro. Don’t let the chilled nature of the place fool you, though – the food is spectacular and the service is excellent. Kendells is akin to an authentic local eatery that you stumble upon by accident on a romantic walk through the French countryside with your partner… except it’s in the heart of Leeds!

These are just a few of the wonderful ways you can share the Valentine’s Day love with your partner, but Leeds has so many other great romantic gift shops and restaurants that you really are spoiled for choice. The whole of The Victoria Quarter is perfect for shopping for the ideal gift, while we’re going to give an honourable mention to Brasserie Forty 4 and Brasserie Blanc – both well worth checking out for your Valentine’s meal.

Don’t forget to leave your car with us at Trafalgar Street car park if you’re spending Valentine’s Day in Leeds or looking around the shops for the perfect gift. We’re always the friendliest and best value 24-hour manned car park in the city, and we’ll take care of your car while you shop or wine and dine your loved one – but please be drink aware!
