Valentine’s Day romantic restaurants Leeds

Romantic restaurant scene

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to think about the various romantic restaurants Leeds has to offer for you to wine and dine your loved one. But where do you start?

Leeds is blessed with dozens of stunning places to eat, but which of those best suit an intimate meal for two? Let’s give you a shortlist of our favourites – none of these will disappoint!

Kendells Bistro – 3, St Peter’s Square, Leeds, LS9 8AH

Just on the edge of town sits this fine and unassuming bistro that serves some of the most delicious French cuisine in Leeds. The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic, the staff are attentive and sympathetic to your needs, and the menu is classic French. There are plenty of quiet little candlelit corners for a romantic meal, and we’re sure that you’ll love it!

Brasserie Blanc – Victoria Mill, Sovereign St, Leeds LS1 4BJ

Brasserie Blanc is another of our favourite romantic restaurants in Leeds, and as soon as you walk through the door you’ll see why! It may be a chain restaurant, but it doesn’t feel like it because of the efforts the staff go to, to create an ambience suited to an intimate meal for two. Raymond Blanc’s genuine passion and love for creating a dining experience you’ll remember shines through in every visit – oh, and the food is wonderful!

Ibérica Leeds – 17A E Parade, Leeds LS1 2BH

Of course, France doesn’t have a monopoly on romance, as proven by Ibérica Leeds! This delightfully elegant chain restaurant in the heart of Leeds offers the finest tapas and seasonal Spanish food, in surroundings made for a romantic dinner for two. It’s not just about the food and atmosphere, though – Ibérica has a wine menu that’s the connoisseur’s dream, with over 70 Spanish wines to choose from.

There are so many romantic restaurants in Leeds that choosing our top three for a Valentine’s Day date was a tough ask, but we think that we’ve nailed it!
