Theatres in Leeds – What’s On in March?

As our regular readers will know, we do the hard work of collating upcoming events in the local area so you don’t have to – so here’s a list of what’s on in the theatres in Leeds this March, giving you time to decide what you want to do and book your tickets in readiness!

Romeo and Juliet: 4th – 12th March

Whether you’re a fan of ballet, a fan of Shakespeare’s most famous love story, or a fan of both, you’ll be blown away by this beautiful and heart-touching performance by the award-winning Northern Ballet.

Hairspray: 17th – 21st March

Staged by the Leeds Amateur Operatic Society, this musical is larger than life and full of catchy tunes and hilarious dialogue. If you enjoyed the film, then you’ll enjoy the live version even more!

Joan Armatrading: 22nd March

Tickets are selling like the proverbial hotcakes for this, Armatrading’s 1st and only solo world tour in her 4 decades of performing. Her incredibly distinctive voice will take you on a journey across her full career’s repertoire – not to be missed for fans of the songbird.

Brendan Cole – A Night to Remember: 24th March

If you love the glitz and glitter of TV’s Strictly Come Dancing, then this is your chance to see the show’s very own Brendan Cole live on stage. A mix of Latin and ballroom, you’ll be jigging in your seat all night while being stunned by the energetic choreography and incredible talent of Cole and his cast.

Dara O’Briain: 25th – 27th March

Probably Ireland’s favourite comedian on the circuit today, if you think he’s funny on Mock the Week, then you’re guaranteed to love his live show! Smart, quick-witted and often sarcastic, join Dara for a night of laughter that will leave you clutching at your sides and drying your eyes.

The Hollies: 28th March

One of the biggest UK bands of the 60s and early 70s, The Hollies are set to perform a 2 hour spectacular, spanning their incredible career and covering all of their best-loved songs. A must for any Hollies’ fans, their harmonies are still on point and their hits sound as fresh as they did when first released.
