What’s new in Leeds?

Despite the challenges the coronavirus pandemic has caused for the high street, we’re pleased to
say that it’s not all bad news – as you’ll see when we take a look at what’s new in Leeds this summer.

Some new openings in the city have been delayed or cancelled, but these intrepid businesses are
pushing forward to add a much-needed spark for the people of the city.

MOP Hair Salon

We’ve heard that MOP Hair Salon will be bringing their ultra-modern approach to hairstyling to the
Leeds high street this summer. Their new salon will renovate an existing period building and use
green energy to create a sustainable salon, so you can look fabulous and take care of the
environment at the same time.

That Salon Place – Leeds Corn Exchange

If you’re a fan of vintage or modern hairstyling, you have to try another salon that’s new in Leeds
this summer. That Salon Place is the latest addition to the Corn Exchange, and it’s the brainchild of
two local stylists who’ve combined forces to provide the best of modern and vintage hair design
under one roof.

I Love Lucie will provide the best era hairstyling in Leeds, and Hair by Leah Lucia is the place to go for
up to date colouring and cuts. Both stylists are also observing COVID protocols to ensure that
everyone who visits is safe, so you can book with confidence.

Salade – Merrion Centre

If you’re looking to step up your healthy eating game this summer, keep your eyes peeled for a new
lunch experience coming soon to the Merrion Centre. Salade will offer a DIY salad menu that’s a little
more refined that the salad bars in your local supermarket. You choose the ingredients and they’ll
whip them up into a beautiful and delicious takeaway salad for you while you wait.

The proprietors are keeping all other details close to their chests for now, but we’re sure that Salade
will be a welcome addition to the Leeds lunch landscape!

See? We told you there was good news! If you decide to support these new ventures in the city,
we’d be happy to take care of your car for you. We’re currently open from 6 am to 8 pm seven days
a week, and we’re doing everything necessary to ensure your safety by observing coronavirus

The pandemic has been life-changing, but by celebrating what’s new in Leeds we hope to bring a
smile to your faces and help us all to get back to a ‘new normal’ soon.
