The term ‘hidden gem’ could have been invented for The Maven. It’s more low-key than Manahatta, but
don’t let that give you the impression that it’s anything other than super cool and sophisticated. It’s the
kind of bar that focuses on great music and wonderful cocktails, with a clientele that’s respectful and
switched on – which makes it a great place to meet relaxed and refined singles… just like you!

Cuckoo – 37 Call Lane, LS1 7BT

Sophisticated and cool are great, but what if you’re looking for quirky and fun instead? Well, fortunately,
Leeds comes up trumps again in the form of another brilliant Call Lane bar, Cuckoo. Serving cocktails,
craft beer and delicious food in an environment designed to create a party atmosphere, Cuckoo is all
about letting your hair down and having a good time – perfect for meeting a new party loving partner in
crime!

Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen – 1-1A Cross Belgrave Street, LS2 8JP

We think that the Belgrave is one of the best singles bars in Leeds for very good reason. There’s always
something going on – be it live music, wonderful street food, comedy or art exhibitions – and with three
floors you’re surrounded by like-minded people. The staff are incredibly friendly and the people who use
the Belgrave are a welcoming and relaxed bunch, so if you’re single it’s a really lovely bar to hang out
and chat without pressure.
